Voice Thread A VoiceThread is a multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos and allows people to navigate slides and leave comments. This is done by using voice (with a mic or telephone), text, audio file, or video (via a webcam). A person can share a VoiceThread with friends, students, and colleagues, and alternatively, they are able to record comments too on the slides. You can register without paying anything. Voki Voki is a website to create customized avatars to use in almost any way that you want. You can email your avatar, post it online and add it to other documents and presentations.  You can add a voice (sound) through a variety of methods: microphone, downloading an audio file, via your phone and typing the text in.  It is used as a creative tool to get students involved in subjects and spur their imaginations. Voki itself is free and can easily be incorporated into the classroom and learning tools.  Linguistic Skill: Speaking Activities: #1. SpiderScribe SpiderScribe is an online mind-mapping tool.  Site users can utilize SpiderScribe to organize thoughts and ideas into maps, adding text, images, files, geographical maps, and calendar events to create unique displays of information. The most basic plan is free and allows users to create unlimited public maps and three private maps. Linguistic Skill: Writing Activities             #1.
